You have a neighborhood.
Now you have a Block.
A way to connect for lawful community support.
Connect the Block is a simple way to create an invite-only neighborhood group page and share it with others. Blocks are not searchable or listed publicly. Blocks are created and managed by independent organizers. Organizers and Blocks are independent third parties and are not partners, agents, employees, or representatives of Connect the Block. Connect the Block does not endorse, supervise, or direct organizers, and is not responsible for organizer actions or communications.
What a Block page includes
A clean landing page: purpose, basic guidelines, how to participate, and a “Join” form. Connect The Block publishes the page; the organizer controls where form submissions go.
No generic search, no browsing Blocks. People join only through an invite link or with a name.
Simple HTML pages that load quickly and are easy to maintain.
Collect only what’s necessary and route submissions to an organizer-owned endpoint.
Data privacy note
This site is designed to avoid storing personal data. Block pages are static. When someone joins, the form can submit directly to a Block’s own endpoint. Connect The Block does not vet groups or manage users, so use at your own risk.
Keep fields minimal (example: first name + preferred contact method). Avoid sensitive details. Blocks should publish a short privacy statement explaining where submissions go.
